Response to Melissa M's: Creative Packaging

What is your opinion of creative packaging? Is it worth the time and money? Does it generate higher sales?

I think that creative packaging is a really cool idea because it makes the consumer go out and purchase the products more if they get a cool package that comes with it. I don't think its really worth all the extra money just to make a package cool especially if people are trying to go green and save on using packing products it's not really worth the time and money. I think it generates higher sales because people think it looks cool and will pay sometimes the extra money for a neat way to get their product. 

Recycled Items

Now a days many young adults today are looking to live in a greener world and now many companies are using more recycled materials. By doing this, it can become a lot more costly for the company making some prices of their products go up. The material is better for the environment and will keep the air cleaner but not everyone is going to pay extra for this. They are trying to reach the target market but currently many of us don't want to pay extra for these things. It seems that companies who should invest in greener materials should only be ones who can afford it and not change their prices.If the company has extra money to use these materials they should just began to for not just target market, but for the world as well.
