Response to Melissa Moriwaki : Social Media Marketing

Do you think the best kind of social media to use depends on what industry you are in.


I think that depending on what company you work for depends on how you will show off your products and deals to the public. With Facebook, companies that direct to more our age group, such as the local bars, keep college students and local townies updated constantly on deals, promotions, and other events that are held at the bar. 

When it comes to other social medias such as the newspaper, Grocery stores and Depot markets like to put their coupons in their local newspapers. Other companies may use twitter to get their deals out to the public. I personally think that Facebook is the best way for companies and products to promote their business because in today's society, more people are starting to use Facebook of all ages.
